Your trust matters to us. This policy explains, in plain words, what personal information Ama Prayer collects, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Ama Prayer (prayer.amachannel.com) is part of Ama Group, the family of prayer and worship channels founded by Dr. Arlindo Antunes in Brazil. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Ama Prayer. We are responsible for the personal information described here.
2. What we collect
When you buy
- Your details: full name, email address and, if you choose to give it, your phone number.
- Your order: the product, price, date, and whether you agreed to receive emails from us.
- Downloads: how many times your personal download link was used and when, so we can protect your files.
- Payment: your card or wallet details are entered on Stripe's secure page. We never see or store your card number. Stripe shares with us limited information such as your name, email and billing country.
When you ask for the free sample
- Your first name, email address and your email preference.
When you contact us
- Your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message.
Automatically
- Like any website, our hosting provider records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. It is used for security and to keep the site working.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not collect sensitive information such as health data. If you choose to share something personal in a prayer request, we treat it with care and confidentiality.
3. How we use it
- To deliver what you bought: sending your download link, receipts and support. This is necessary to perform our agreement with you.
- To answer you: replying to your messages and prayer requests.
- To protect you and us: preventing fraud, misuse of download links and security problems. This is our legitimate interest.
- To meet legal duties: keeping records required by tax and accounting laws.
- To send you new prayers and offers: only if you said yes, and you can stop at any time.
We never sell or rent your personal information.
4. Who helps us
We use a small number of trusted services to run Ama Prayer. They only process your information to provide their service to us:
- Stripe processes payments (stripe.com/privacy).
- Cloudflare hosts our website and securely stores our orders and files (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy).
- Resend delivers our emails (resend.com/legal/privacy-policy).
Our fonts and all other website files are served from our own site, so your browser does not connect to other companies while you browse.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers and of Ama Prayer.
5. International transfers
Ama Prayer is run from Brazil and our service providers operate around the world, including in the United States. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country. We rely on providers that offer appropriate protections for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
6. Cookies and storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. During your visit, your browser may remember the name and email you typed at checkout so you do not have to type them twice. This stays on your device and is deleted when you close the tab. Stripe sets its own cookies on its payment page to process your payment and prevent fraud.
7. How long we keep it
- Orders: as long as tax and accounting laws require, generally up to 5 years after your purchase.
- Free sample sign-ups: until you ask us to remove you.
- Messages: up to 2 years, so we can follow up on your request.
- Technical logs: a short time, usually days, by our hosting provider.
8. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information, unless we must keep it by law;
- stop sending you marketing emails, or withdraw any consent you gave;
- object to or limit certain uses of your information.
These rights reflect laws such as the GDPR in Europe, the LGPD in Brazil and state privacy laws in the United States, including California. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising. To make a request, contact us. We will answer within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Emails from us
If you buy something, we send emails about your order. These are part of the service. If you also said yes to hearing from us, we may occasionally send new prayers, devotionals and offers. You can stop these at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any email or by contacting us.
10. Security
Our site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Payments are handled by Stripe, a certified PCI Level 1 provider. Download links are personal, random and limited in time and use. No method is perfectly secure, but we work carefully to protect your information.
11. Children
Ama Prayer is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under 16 in the European Union. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Important changes will be highlighted on our website.
